One of the great things about teleseminars is they can be conducted from anywhere you can get a phone connection.
I know this because I once did a 90 minute teleseminar, which was a preview call for an upcoming telecourse, from a rest area on I-70, 20 miles west of Topeka, Kansas.
I was driving back home to Atlanta from Denver, and had planned to stop a couple of hours before the teleseminar and get a hotel room. Well, it was two days before Independence Day and since a large part of southern Kansas had been flooded by all the rain, there were no hotels rooms to be had.
So I figured all I needed was a good phone connection and I could pull this off. Having an internet connection so I could refer to information on my computer would be nice, but not essential.
Now what I am about to tell you I had not seen before this evening, and I have not seen it since. With about 10 minutes to spare I pull into a rest area, with a sign telling me that they had 24 hour security and a wireless internet connection.
So I did my 90 minute teleseminar from my rental car, on my cell phone and lap top computer, from a rest area on I-70 twenty miles west of Topeka, Kansas. No one would have known the difference unless I told them, which of course I did, since it was such a kick.
